Our story

Made slowly, meant to last

Hannah started Fold in 2019 after years of buying sheets that wore thin, and wanted linen that gets better with every wash instead. She designs each piece in her studio in Hebden Bridge, and family-run mills in northern Portugal weave and sew it.

How long does delivery take?: Two to four working days in the UK. Orders placed before 1pm on a weekday leave the same day, and delivery is free over £60.
Can I return something?: Yes, within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Send it back clean and in its original packaging and we refund you within five working days.
How should I wash linen?: Machine wash at 40°C with a mild detergent and no fabric softener. Line dry or tumble dry on low, and skip the iron: stonewashed linen is meant to look relaxed.
What sizes do you make?: Bedding comes in UK single, double, king and super king. Fitted sheets suit mattresses up to 35 cm deep, and every product lists its exact measurements.
Do you offer gift wrapping?: Yes, for £4 an order. We wrap it in recycled tissue with a cotton ribbon, leave out the receipt and add a handwritten note if you ask.
