Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Anyone helps people start and run a small business: it builds their website, sets up payments and helps them find customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
Who we are
Anyone is operated from the United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, email adamnjbutterworth@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your account. Your name, email address and the business details you give us: its name, what it does, where it is, and the website and content we build with you.
Payments. To let you take payments we create a Stripe account for your business. Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly, under its own privacy policy; we see your business and contact details, the status of your account, and your transactions, but never card numbers or your bank login.
Your customers. When someone pays you, we receive what Stripe tells us: amount, date, product, and the email the customer gave. We use it to show you your sales and to send receipts on your behalf.
Usage. How you use the product (pages visited, features used, errors), so we can fix things and improve it.
How we use it
To run the service: build and host your website, create payment links and invoices, show you your sales, and answer your questions.
To keep it safe: detect fraud and abuse, and meet Stripe's and the law's requirements for taking payments.
To improve it: understand what works. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising to others.
Who we share it with
Stripe processes payments and verifies businesses. Vercel hosts the product and your website. Anthropic provides the AI models that help write and build; what you type may be sent to them to generate a reply and is not used to train their models. We share only what each needs, and we are responsible for them handling it properly.
We also share data when the law requires it, or to protect you, us or others.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Email adamnjbutterworth@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days. You can delete your business from Settings at any time; Stripe keeps payment records for as long as financial law requires.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. No advertising cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
