Terms
Terms of service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These are the terms for using Anyone. They are written to be read. If anything is unclear, email adamnjbutterworth@gmail.com before you rely on it.
What we do
Anyone is software that helps you start and run a business: it builds and hosts a website for you, sets up payments through Stripe, and helps you reach customers. The AI makes suggestions and does work on your instructions; you decide what goes live and what gets sold.
Your account
You must be 18 or over and give accurate details about yourself and your business. Keep your sign-in private; what happens in your account is your responsibility.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you switch on payments we create a Stripe account for your business and you accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. You are the seller: you are responsible for what you sell, for delivering it, for refunds and for disputes, and Stripe pays you directly.
Anyone charges a fee on each payment, shown before you create a link, in addition to Stripe's processing fees. We may change our fee with 30 days' notice.
You may not use Anyone to sell anything on Stripe's restricted businesses list, anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to sell. Stripe may pause or close a business account under its own rules; we cannot override that.
Your website and content
What you create with Anyone is yours: your site, your content, your customers. You give us the permission we need to host and show it. You are responsible for its accuracy and for having the rights to anything you upload.
Acceptable use
No illegal content, no deceiving customers, no harming others, no attempts to break or overload the service. We can suspend accounts that do.
Ending things
You can close your account at any time from Settings. Your website comes down; you can export your code and data first. We can end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious misuse.
Liability
We provide Anyone as it is. We are not liable for lost profits or for what your customers do, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts.
